Cec O’dea

Cec has been a well respected lawyer on the Sunshine Coast for more than 25 years.  He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1996 and joined our team in 2019, following many years as a Partner of Schultz Toomey O’Brien Lawyers.

Cec has a wealth of experience in many areas of law and practices extensively in:

• estate litigation;
• family provision applications;
• wills and estate disputes;
• contested probate disputes;
• probate, estate and trust administration;
• succession planning, involving complex testamentary trust structures, enduring powers of attorney and advance health directives.

As well as assisting many private clients, Cec has given the community the benefit of his legal expertise.

In 2017 Cec was awarded Life Membership of the Suncoast Community Legal Service in appreciation of his voluntary dedication to the Service for more than a decade.

Outside of the law Cec is a keen sportsman and enjoys touch football, surfing & competitive ocean swimming.
